Meanwhile, this feels modernised and fresher than I last recall, and still has five years age on it. A lovely, fuller figured release with lush, ripe fruit characters, boysenberry jam whiffs and flavours, a bit of choc-cherry character, faintest nougat and coconut, cinnamon going on mid palate and through the close. Lots of spice, is another thing. It’s flows nicely, soft, thick, rich, a bit boozey-breathy but long, finishing with a titter of lemony acidity but mostly sweet fruit. Very lush and rounded. Big appeal for those seeking fuller, warming expressions in good balance. 92 points, drink 2021-2028, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front (reviewed 2021).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0061/3331/7750/files/6837_Image1_10b4c582-28a3-47e9-8575-c85de6bf60d2.jpg?v=1792988206
