Always one of our preferred Australian Rieslings, this is looking great from day one. A warm vintage with reduced yields has led to a concentrated and generous wine with a bit more fruit weight than is typical. This shows pear rind and melon as well as the more classic notes of lemon pith and lime leaf. Here the wine seems enhanced texturally, moreso than other brand-new Rieslings which can often be a bit lean when first released. A definite winner. – Ches Cook, FWC.
