One of my favourite producers from Mt Etna – always precise and very elegant, this is no exception. Give it some air and you’ll see the aromatics grow and grow. Initially there’s walnuts/almonds and some spice but as it opens up beautiful dark cherries and some fresh herbs begin to show. It’s medium bodied, fresh and there’s a distinct rocky/mineral presence on the palate. Delicious. Jeremy Muller, FWC.
"Perfume: Elegant, with good complexity, hints of cherry and plum, notes of leather and tobacco. Taste: Fresh and complex, with soft, velvety tannins, good structure and pleasant drinkability; silky, lingering finish." Winery Notes.
