Dappled 'Fin de la Terre' Syrah 2019

Shaun’s Syrah shows all the elegance and vitality that the Dappled label has come to represent. This time though, the Shiraz variety brings a darkness to the fruit, while the wine remains only medium bodied. The use of 100% whole bunch brings a slight chew t the tannin, and the flavour profile is built upon spice and autumn leaf savouriness. It’s a cracking wine, and very complex in its flavour characteristics. – Ches Cook, FWC.

Initially the nose is all charry and savoury with black olive, herbs and spice.. With air even a decant the wine explodes with beautiful sweet Strawberry fruits, black cherry liquor aromas over floral’s and fresh baked pastry. The pallet is refined and sumptuous think black fruit’s strewn with herbs and spice… Tannins are fine but coiled awash with briny olives.  For lovers of  cool climate Shiraz  that brims with complexity. - Winemaker's Note
