Coriole Piquepoul 2023

The classic match for oysters, though I’d rather drink the wine and leave the oysters to someone else.

So much crunch and brine, with green apple, lemon zest and some floral top notes. It’s very stony and dry, but delivers a good amount of flavour, and the finish has some raw almond and grapefruity bite. Delightful thirst slaking wine. Drink 2023-2028+. 93 Points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
