La Bruja de Rozas or ‘The Witch of Rozas’ is the village wine of the town Rozas de Puerto Real. The witch refers to the tendency of Rozas to be overcast and grey, due to clouds forming on the surrounding hills. This lack of light is a key part of the terroir and helps to give Bruja it’s elegance.
Bright, medium bodied and mineral with fine rippling tannins and a huge amount of finesse. The flavour profile is complex and spans jamon/cured meats, smoke and bright red primary fruit (red cherry and raspberry). This is generous yet at the same time elegantly structured and provides a huge amount of interest from the first glass to the last (i had a bottle just a few nights ago watching the world cup). - Ches Cook, FWC.
