A wine we have followed for a few years now so we were excited to receive this new release. Due to the warmth of the ’18 vintage, this sits fairly full in the mouth – achieving ripeness certainly wasn’t an issue this year. But most importantly, the wine has managed to maintain some distinctive Chablis character. It’s slightly waxy and saline, with a distinctive line of acidity sitting above some salty, wet-stone characters. The length is fantastic, with the wine leaving you with green apple and sea spray flavours on the finish. Very delicious. – Ches Cook, FWC.
