Bests Sparkling Shiraz 2017

“I always look forward to each new release of Best’s Sparkling Shiraz. Have I said that before? I think I have. It must be true. This is a particularly good release. They don’t make a great deal of it so if you want some, don’t dilly-dally. It tastes of kirsch, sweet earth, fragrant herbs and something more exotic; hard to put a finger on. A kind of spicy, aged, leathery, soy character. In any case it works a treat. It’s both a complex wine and a svelte one. Rated : 93 Points. Drink : 2019 - 2026+.” Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.
