On the night of our Leroux Dinner, I preferred the Bourgogne Rouge. That is not to say I don’t like this a lot. As it should be; it is more perfumed with musk, rose petal and cherry. Very pure fruited on the palate with long fine elegance to the palate. Currently the savoury notes and fine grained tannins are hiding behind the volume of fruit. – Ian Cook, FWC.
