The 2024 is a blend of two organically farmed North Coast vineyards: Luchsinger and Las Cimas. Once the only Trousseau vineyard in the country, the Luchsinger vineyard anchors the blend. Situated in the Clear Lake AVA at 1,400 feet elevation, its vines grow in volcanic alluvium over ancient riverbed stones - lending the wine its characteristic mineral lift and nervous energy. The remaining fruit comes from the fractured sandstone, quartz and schist soils of the Las Cimas vineyard,  in the western hills of the Russian River Valley, adding aromatic complexity and textural finesse. Fermented with 100% whole clusters and native yeasts, and aged for eleven months in a combination of neutral French oak barrels, puncheons, and foudre before blending.
