The texture is firm yet waxy, a touch flirty. There is a well defined structure, a very serious Semillon and an accomplished release of this wine in 2025. Mitch Milicich, FWC

Here’s a statement for you. Barossa Valley semillon is the next McLaren Vale grenache of the Australian wine landscape. This release is tight, measured, pure and characterful, though the latter isn’t properly strutting its stuff just yet; it will require time. It tastes of preserved lemons, wax, wool, concrete and aromatic herbs, and while there’s a strength to this wine it all feels a touch understated, at this stage. The arms of this wine are not outstretched. I also think that there’s a minor amount of reduction in play here though I could be wrong; whatever it is, it’s helping to tighten the wine’s screws. There’s a minerally, steely, unsweetened lemonade character here too. I love how deliberate this wine feels. I love how it wants to be taken seriously, but does so as much in glances as in stares. 93+ pts, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front

From best blocks, two of them. The wine fermented in concrete then rested in qvevri, stainless and old oak. Combos. A fine wine here. A slight haze and grip to texture, yes thanks, all the lemony freshness, a touch of lemon curd and lemon tart with salty-sweet pastry. Some green apple sloshes through, a lick of cucumber in tonic, or white vermouth, also found here. And good for it. Complexity in a medium weight, textural, minerally white wine.
