Spinifex Dominion Shiraz 2019

Fruit from Spinifex’s estate plot with some vines over 100 years old. The nose shows lots of dense and dark primary fruit with a lovely spice profile. It’s full bodied and plushly textured with persistent yet expertly weaved tannins. The lush dark fruits are well supported by a lick of oak well as layers of garrigue and some dried leaves. If drinking now, decant, or stash away for medium term cellaring. A great wine from a very talented winemaker, Peter Schell. Jeremy Muller, FWC.
