Coates 'Garden of Perfume & Spice' Syrah 2019

Duane Coates makes a range of Shiraz’ from both the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. I find myself having a slight preference for the Adelaide Hills wines due to their slightly lighter body and added freshness. This wine, as is the Coates way, drinks well above its price-point, showing brown spice, plum, mid-palate softness and a lick of fresh acidity.
