We’ve always considered this a true bargain in the Riesling world. Grand Cru, top-shelf Riesling of this quality at this price? Not to mention long-term ageability. There really isn’t too much to consider – this wine definitely deserves a place in your cellar.
The fruit quality here is as pure as it comes. Citrus fruit into white-fleshed peach and nectarine. Some richness tamed beautifully by rocky minerality that ripples through the body of the wine. Sitting along side this is a powerful and beautifully integrated acid line singing with power and vibrancy. – Ches Cook, FWC.
