Absolutely outstanding with a tight mineral laden nose hosting aromas of toasted almond, almond meal, honey dew melon, white peach and flinty spice notes. Quite the heady perfume. In the 2017 vintage, Nick Farr suggests it gets greater depth from its longer hang time on the vine. The palate holds all the beautiful flavours of great Chardonnay; grilled nut, meal, stone fruit and honey held in great balance by long, tight, clean and bright acidity with a chalkiness to it. Superb length. Very highly recommended. Another great vintage. At our tasting, this was the clear favourite wine for the whole group. – Ian Cook, FWC.
