Main Ridge The Acre Pinot Noir 2018
This release has a slightly larger frame compared to the 2017, with a bit more muscle and breadth across the palate. It’s made up of dark fruit, even some liquorice, with a core of plum and dark Amarena cherry. I expect it to develop some more savoury tones over the next 12 months in bottle, but for now it is quite primary and fruit-forward. Plenty to like already, but a lot of development ahead of it. Cellar it for a while if you can. – Ches Cook, FWC.
